Galvanized H-steel, a key product in the structural steel category, is formed by applying a zinc coating to standard H-steel (also known as H-beam) through specific galvanization processes. 01 HIGH STRENGTH
The cross-sectional shape of H-shaped steel is reasonably designed and has high strength. Compared with other steel materials,H-shaped steel has higher strength and can withstand greater loads.
02 STRONG BENDING RESISTANCE
The cross-sectional shape of H-shaped steel is similar to the letter "H" and has a high moment of inertia, giving it good bending resistance. ln building structures, H-shaped steel can effective-ly resist bending deformation from external forces and maintain the stability of the structure.
03 GOOD PLASTICITY AND RELIABILITY
H-shaped steel can be remanufactured through processing and has good plasticity and reliability.In different application fields,cutting, welding, bending and other processing techniques can be carried out as needed to meet the requirements of different structural designs.
04 STEEL GRADES
The base steel of galvanized H-steel follows structural steel standards, with common grades including:
Carbon Steel: Q235B (China), S235JR (EU), A36 (US)—suitable for general structural loads.
High-Strength Steel: Q355B (China), S355JR (EU), A572 Gr.50 (US)—used for large-span or heavy-load structures (e.g., bridges, high-rise buildings).
05 APPLICATIONS
Galvanized H-steel is widely used in industries requiring both structural stability and corrosion resistance:
Construction Industry: Load-bearing frames of industrial workshops, warehouses, high-rise buildings, and prefabricated houses; purlins and girders in steel structures.
